Astranka Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Astranka, we may collect or process:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number if provided, Firebase user ID, and authentication details.
• Client and chart information: client name, date of birth, gender, numerology numbers, Lo Shu grid data, name analysis, marriage compatibility inputs, generated summaries, and report selections.
• Your notes: typed notes, edited extracted note text, note titles, and note metadata.
• Images for note extraction: images you choose to capture or upload for handwritten or printed note extraction. Astranka sends the image for extraction and stores the resulting editable text, not the original image, unless a future feature clearly says otherwise.
• Audio for analysis: audio recordings you choose to create for AI-assisted prediction analysis. Audio is uploaded temporarily for transcription and analysis, and Astranka attempts to delete the audio file after the analysis is generated.
• Subscription information: subscription status, entitlement status, product identifiers, renewal information, and purchase metadata provided by RevenueCat, Google Play, or Apple.
• Technical information: app version, device/platform information, diagnostics, logs, and error details needed to operate, secure, and debug the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Store and sync your clients, notes, analyses, and reports across your signed-in devices.
• Generate numerology charts, name suggestions, prediction summaries, and report PDFs.
• Process audio recordings and note images only when you choose to use those features.
• Manage subscriptions, entitlements, trials, purchase restoration, and customer support.
• Protect the app from abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

AI Processing

Astranka uses cloud functions and AI service providers to process user-provided content such as names, consultation audio, transcripts, and note images. These services are used to generate structured suggestions, extracted note text, transcripts, strengths, issues, remedies, and report-ready sections.

Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the reading or note you are creating.

Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or process information with trusted service providers that help operate Astranka, including:

• Firebase and Google Cloud: authentication, database, storage, hosting, and cloud functions.
• OpenAI: AI-assisted transcription, note extraction, name suggestions, and analysis organization.
• RevenueCat: subscription entitlement management and customer center features.
• Google Play and Apple: in-app purchase processing, subscription billing, refunds, and store account management.
• Resend: transactional email delivery, such as password reset emails.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse of the service.

Data Storage and Security

Astranka stores app data using Firebase services and applies access controls so signed-in users can access their own data. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and Deletion

We retain account, client, note, and report data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete clients and notes inside the app. Deleted client data is removed from the app database and associated prediction storage paths where applicable.

Audio recordings used for analysis are intended to be temporary and are deleted from storage after analysis generation. Generated transcripts and structured analysis may remain saved as part of the client prediction unless you delete the related client or request deletion.

Your Choices and Rights

• You can choose not to record audio or upload note images.
• You can edit or delete notes and client records inside the app.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play, Apple, or the RevenueCat customer center where available.
• You can request account or data deletion by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Astranka is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

International Users

Astranka may process information in countries other than your own through cloud and AI service providers. By using the app, you understand that your information may be processed where these providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Astranka changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this page.
